Current News: Bell Sympatico, Bell High Speed edition, Excell and Sprint are some of the major ISP's that are now blocking port 25 on their systems which means you can no longer send mail out through our servers. There is a simple fix. Just go into the properties of your email settings and change your outgoing (SMTP) server setting to the same setting as for your Sympatico email. This might says something like: smtp1.sympatico.ca or smtp10.on.aibn.com but yours might be different. If you don't have the settings from your other regular dialup account you may need to get in touch with your Internet service provider for the correct mail settings. Your incoming (POP3) setting should still be your domain name, the only change to your email settings needed is to change the outgoing mail server (SMTP) setting. It is our understanding that these major ISP's have taken this step in an effort to curb or at least partially control email abusers who are sending spam through their systems. The respective ISP may be able to tell you more. For more information on this issue, please contact your ISP, or you can contact us at support@thenetnow.com
