The Net Now offers the following guarantees:

1.  If, during any month, we have not met the 99.5% uptime guarantee, we will, upon request, rebate an amount equal to 50% of that months hosting to be applied to your account within 30 days.

2.  If you are not satisfied with our web hosting, you may cancel with full refund with 30 days of signup.  This does not include domain registration.  

3.  If you wish to cancel your hosting at any time (for ANY reason) you may do so with written notice.  You must include your username and password or some other means of identification.  We will promptly refund any whole, unused months of hosting fees.  We are not able to extend this refund on setup fees, domain registration fees or any site design work.

Policies & Guidelines

The Net Now asks your understanding and cooperation in keeping within our hosting policies.  We provide web hosting to many clients and have a responsibility to provide the best possible service. The following guidelines were designed to ensure that these obligations are met.

Content

All services provided by The Net Now may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission, storage or presentation of any information, data or material in violation of any Canadian Federal, Provincial or city law or United States Federal, State or City law is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, copyrighted material, material we judge to be threatening or obscene or material protected by trade secret or other statute. The subscriber agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The Net Now from any claims resulting from the use of the service that damages the subscriber or any other party.

All pornographic content and sex-related merchandising is prohibited on all The Net Now servers. This includes sites that may infer sexual content or links to adult content elsewhere. The Net Now will be the sole arbiter in determining violations of this provision.

Also prohibited are sites that promote any illegal activity or present content that may be damaging to The Net Now servers or any other server on the internet. Links to such materials are also prohibited.

Examples of unacceptable content or links

• Pirated software sites
• Hacker programs or archives
• Content of a pornographic, sexually explicit, adult nature or links to similar sites.
• Content of an illegal nature (including stolen copyrighted material) or links to similar sites.
• mp3 or other similar high traffic sites offering downloads.
• Hate sites or email with content that could be reasonably considered as slanderous or libelous
• Sites or email that make harassing or abusive statements or threaten persons with bodily harm
• Any other use of our services that we may deem to be unacceptable. The Net Now will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision.

Commercial Advertising – E-mail

Spamming, or the sending of unsolicited e-mail to third parties, from The Net Now server or using an e-mail address or domain that is maintained on an The Net Now machine as reference is STRICTLY prohibited. The Net Now will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision.

IRC

IRC or IRC bots may not be operated on our servers at this time.

Server Abuse

Any attempt to undermine or cause harm to a server or customer of The Net Now  is strictly prohibited. You may not use our services to cause denial of service attacks to any network host or cause any interference with the internet usage of any other person via our services.

Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or suspend service at our sole discretion.

All Sub-Networks, distributive hosting sites and dedicated servers of The Net Now must adhere to the above policies.

Failure to follow any term or condition will be grounds for immediate account deactivation.
