Thank you so much for trusting The Net Now over the years. It’s been a real pleasure working with you and supporting your online presence. Effective July 1st, 2026, we have decided to focus exclusively on web development services and will be retiring from the hosting business.
What this means for you:
We want to make sure you are well taken care of and to help make this transition as smooth as possible. We’ve spent a lot of time researching reliable Canadian hosting options with similar services at a competitive price and offering great support.

Heather Peel started doing web design and opened The Net Now back in 1998, during the peak of the dot-com boom when Google had just started and Amazon only sold books and CD’s!
For the next 28 years, she and her husband Grant managed The Net Now as a web hosting business, offering all of the typical related services including domain registration and email services.
Heather has always loved helping people and creating their websites. In the summer of 2026, she plans to balance her time between helping a smaller group of clients with their websites and travel, family and art!
